Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday announced he had removed every member of a scientific committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on how to use vaccines and pledged to replace them with his own picks.
He claimed the committee had too many conflicts of interest and plans to appoint new members.
The panel’s work has been in limbo since Kennedy took office, including a delayed February meeting.
