President Donald Trump took part in a roundtable discussion with the Fraternal Order of Police. The organization has shown their support for the president’s “big, beautiful” budget bill, highlighting tax cuts aimed at earned income and overtime pay. They had previously endorsed Trump’s re-election campaign for president in September of last year.
“I’m deeply grateful to the National Fraternal Order of Police for its resounding endorsement of the one big beautiful bill, which is moving along, very nicely,” said President Trump during the roundtable discussion.
The Fraternal Order of Police is the nation’s largest law enforcement organization. This comes at a time of tension between Trump and Elon Musk, who was acting as a special government employee at the White House.
