Governor Ron DeSantis provided an update as Hurricane Milton approaches Florida. Milton is expected to make landfall around 1-3 P.M. Eastern Time on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Hurricane Milton remains a ‘powerful’ Category 4 storm. Current maximum sustained winds reach 145 mph. The storm is currently 190 miles SW of Tampa.
