“He’s watching. All of us.” Saban Films has unveiled an official trailer for The Stoic, an action thriller that follows a group of mercenary leaders with hostages in a country retreat after a raid. When they catch the attention of “The Stoic,” an invincible man from an ancient clan of smugglers, things take a dark turn. The film revolves around themes of loyalty, survival, and vengeance as The Stoic battles armed mercenaries and his own need for retribution. Starring Scott Wright as “The Stoic” and Jason Flemyng, among others. Despite its cast, the trailer suggests this might end up as another direct-to-video release.

This action thriller follows a group of mercenary leaders in a country retreat after pulling off a raid on a drugs gang. Things take a turn for the worse after they raise the attentions of “The Stoic” (starring Scott Wright), a man from an ancient clan of smugglers determined to save the hostages they have with them. The Stoic is written and directed by filmmaker Jonathan Eckersley, making his feature directorial debut, and produced by Archstone Entertainment.
