Portugal have appointed Jorge Jesus as their new coach following the resignation of Roberto Martinez.
Martinez called time on his tenure after Portugal exited the World Cup in the last 16.

Ronaldo declared the 2026 World Cup would be his last, with Portugal’s record goalscorer’s continued presence in the starting XI attracting significant criticism as the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star struggled to justify his selection.
