The competition for the Women’s Tag Team Championship has been heating up in recent weeks. The Bella Twins, and Charlotte and Alexa Bliss have been trying to win Women’s Tag Team Titles for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have also been trying to get a Women’s Tag Team Title shot. They finally got their chance on the 30th March episode of WWE RAW. However, the match ended in a DQ finish after the Bella Twins, and Charlotte and Alexa Bliss got involved. Hence, WWE announced a fatal four-way match between all the teams.

Tonight on RAW, Charlotte faced off against Lyra Valkyria in a singles match. Both women put on a competitive match. During the match, Charlotte went for a pin attempt on Lyra, but Bayley tripped her, which allowed the latter to roll up The Queen for the win. Both teams started arguing with each other after the match, as The Queen was not happy with the way she lost since the Role Model crossed the line.
Charlotte Flair addressed the fan backlash she received for so long
Charlotte Flair is one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers in WWE history. When she first debuted on the main roster, the company was hell-bent on pushing her. They made her Women’s Champion multiple times. However, the fans never wanted her on top. Therefore, they booed her whenever she appeared on TV. Even after she made her in-ring return after a year on the sidelines, the fans continued to boo her. Hence, WWE moved her to the tag team division.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Charlotte said she understands she is not an underdog, noting that it is very difficult to stay on top for long.
“So I understand. I’ve never been an underdog. Not that I’m an underdog right now, but I think it was more—I lost parts of… okay, I couldn’t understand why—‘Hey guys, do you know what it takes to be on top this long?’ And how serious the title means—what do you mean that’s not enough?” she said.
It remains to be seen if Charlotte Flair will be able to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 42.
