BREAKING: Rep. Swalwell to resign from Congress after sexual assault allegations

California Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell said Monday he plans to resign from Congress after a series of sexual assault allegations. In a statement posted on X, Swalwell said he’s “deeply sorry” for what he called “mistakes in judgement I’ve made in my past.”
