A shooting at a youth hockey game in Rhode Island last week has now resulted in a third death. Authorities said the latest victim was a grandfather whose daughter and grandson were also killed in the incident.
Police in Pawtucket announced Wednesday that Gerald Dorgan, who had been hospitalized in critical condition, died from his injuries.
Mayor Donald Grebien said he was deeply saddened by the additional loss of life caused by the shooting, adding that his thoughts are with the victims’ loved ones and everyone affected by the tragedy.
