The company also named his replacement: Chipotle CEO Brian Niccol, who will start on Sept. 9. Subway has called a hasty meeting with franchisees of its 19,000 North American sandwich shops as they grapple with faltering sales and profits. The common thread being corporate greed leading to increased inflation of customers hard-earned loyalty points.
