Throughout the day, we’ve been covering ceremonies across the country honoring the victims and survivors of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The attacks killed 2,977 people at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon and aboard United Flight 93 near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
