XRP might be currently trading in corrections, but technical analysis shows the cryptocurrency is still headed in an upward direction.

After the July breakout, XRP transitioned into a descending broadening wedge characterized by lower lows and lower highs that expand over time. With this in mind, the analyst noted that the lower the XRP price goes, the higher the breakout will be.

As it stands, there’s still a possibility that the XRP price will continue declining to as low as $1.5 before rebounding at the lower trendline of the descending wedge.
