Stellantis, the Euro-American parent of Jeep, RAM, Dodge and Chrysler, is forking over $13 billion to fix its money-losing U.S. business, which is responsible for more than half of Stellantis’s total profits. Formed in 2021, the company was a star–every year made more money than the one previous. But all the while, customers were walking away.
