Immutable and Crypto Blockchain Industries have released a public demo of emoji™ Marble Dash on the Epic Games Store, marking a new push to bring blockchain-enabled games to mainstream PC players. The demo is now live on PC, with blockchain-linked quests available through Immutable Play.
The launch signals a broader effort by Immutable to expand Web3 gaming beyond crypto-native platforms and into traditional gaming marketplaces.

Web3 gameplay meets mainstream distribution
The demo introduces competitive marble racing built around physics-driven gameplay, where emoji™ characters race across themed tracks using momentum and precision. Players can test multiplayer mechanics and ability cards that boost speed, damage, and resistance, adding strategy to the racing format.
While the demo focuses on gameplay, the underlying infrastructure runs on Immutable’s blockchain stack. The company aims to use mainstream platforms like Epic to onboard players into Web3 gaming without requiring prior crypto experience.
Crypto Blockchain Industries, which develops blockchain-focused entertainment projects, said the demo is part of a wider roadmap to integrate digital assets and on-chain mechanics into interactive entertainment.
On-Chain quests and rewards via Immutable play
Alongside the demo, Immutable has activated blockchain-based quests through Immutable Play. Players who complete tasks can earn early digital rewards, tying in-game activity to Web3 engagement systems.
Immutable Play is designed to unify player identities, track engagement, and distribute rewards across blockchain-powered titles. The platform is part of Immutable’s broader gaming infrastructure, which includes developer tools and on-chain asset ownership.
Immutable said the demo launch and quest integration highlight its goal of making blockchain gaming accessible at scale, using traditional gaming platforms as an entry point for digital ownership and Web3 features.
Meanwhile, Immutable showed signs of recovery after reporting a $50 million loss in 2023. According to filings cited by the Australian Financial Review, the company made significant strides in performance despite facing challenges from a turbulent crypto market, global regulatory pressures, and high marketing costs.
