The US has reached a trade deal with Vietnam, imposing a 20% tariff on Vietnamese goods and 40% on any transshipped goods from Vietnam that originated in another country.
Next, the “big, beautiful bill” went to the House of Representatives and faced another long day of negotiations. Currently, 28 GOP lawmakers are either a no vote or won’t commit to a yes. Speaker Johnson needs that number reduced to three. The bill goes back to the Senate if there are any changes
