The Pentagon confirmed that the US airstrikes against Houthis rebels in Yemen continued for a third day on Monday.
U.S. warships have shot down roughly a dozen Houthi drones since President Donald Trump launched airstrikes against the terrorist organization on Saturday, Fox News has learned.
“To all Houthi terrorists, your time is up, and your attacks must stop, starting today,” Trump posted on Truth Social over the weekend.
Trump re-designated the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) in January. His first administration had named the Houthis as an FTO, but the Biden administration later reversed the move.
Over the weekend, the White House released photos of Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security advisor Mike Waltz monitoring the strikes.
