President Donald Trump called into “The Five” on FOX News Channel to discuss several topics including the war with Iran and the ongoing partial government shutdown. In this clip, Trump is asked about Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and the issues at airports amid TSA staffing shortages.
“But let me ask you about Iran. You kind of suggested that we’d knocked out Ayatollah Junior. Have we? And did the CIA tell you that Ayatollah Junior’s gay?” FOX News host Jesse Waters asked Trump.
“Well, they did say that, but I don’t know if it was only them,” Trump responded. “I think a lot of people are saying that, which puts them off to a bad start in that particular country.”
FOX News’ Kayleigh McEnany also asked Trump about Congress, specifically the filibuster and TSA workers missing another paycheck.
