A new political party started by Elon Musk, intended as a rebuke to the “two-party system,” was the subject of questions aimed at President Trump. Trump took this questions as he prepared to return to the White House. President Trump expressed his disagreement with Musk. Trump said he does not believe a third-party would help the country. Trump spoke with reporters in Bedminster, New Jersey and was asked about Musk’s move to start a third party.
“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party,” Trump said from the tarmac. “We have a tremendous success with the Republican Party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it’s always been a two-party system, and I think starting a third party just adds to confusion.
