Trump Makes Headlines by Purchasing Hamburger with Bitcoin on Metaverseplanet.net

Former U.S. President Donald Trump made history by ordering hamburgers with cryptocurrency. Currently a Republican presidential candidate, Trump, who had previously held a strong anti-cryptocurrency stance during his presidency, has since changed his views on crypto during his second run for office.

While in New York, Trump visited a crypto-themed bar called PubKey, where he ordered a hamburger and paid for it using Bitcoin. It was noted that the staff at PubKey assisted him in completing the transaction. Trump also holds the distinction of being the first U.S. President to publicly address cryptocurrency during his tenure.

He also talked about the crypto project

Two days before purchasing the hamburger, Donald Trump made statements in support of the cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial. Trump, along with some of his sons, is also involved in this project. World Liberty Financial recently announced its token, WLFI.

Trump is running for U.S. President for the third time in this year’s election. Having won the presidency once and lost the second time, he has shown increasing interest in crypto assets during this third campaign. Trump has expressed his desire to make the United States the “crypto capital of the planet.”

In recent years, cryptocurrencies have been used to support both presidential and senatorial elections in the United States, further increasing politicians’ interest in and support for cryptocurrencies.
