President Donald Trump reacted Thursday to a deadly shooting on the campus of Florida State University, calling it “a shame.” While speaking in the Oval Office, he said he’ll always “protect the Second Amendment,” indicating he won’t be advocating for any new gun legislation.
Two people were killed in a shooting Thursday morning on the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, police said. Six people have been taken to the hospital. Police said the suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner, a current FSU student and the son of a Leon County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
