The migration from Synthetix V2x contracts to V3 continues to roll on today with the release for SCCP-2134 going live. Now all Synthetix stakers on Ethereum Mainnet can migrate to the V3 contracts. This release affects actions available to all stakers on Ethereum Mainnet so please read carefully.
Some notable updates that stakers should be aware of:
- Stakers can only burn max on V2x after this SCCP is enabled. This means stakers will not be able to burn to 500% or burn a portion of their debt while still staking on V2x.
- Stakers can migrate to V3, where they manage their positions on the new app at liqudity.synthetix.io.
- Stakers can buy sUSD and swap it to snxUSD in order to manage their positions on V3.
- Once sUSD and debt is migrated to V3 it cannot go back to V2x
- Liquidated stakers on V2x will have their debt and SNX deposited onto V3. So Stakers that migrate to V3 will be receiving that debt and liquidated SNX in accordance with their proportional amount of SNX staked
- Escrowed SNX that is yet to be vested will also migrate and can be claimed on v3 at its scheduled vesting date.
