This is so heartbreaking.

Sharon Osbourne has revealed the very last thing Ozzy Osbourne told her just mere moments before he passed away, and it is the most loving and devastating thing in the world. Oof. During a deeply emotional new episode of her friend Piers Morgan‘s show Uncensored, per The US Sun, Sharon revealed the rock star woke up very early after a sleepless night on July 22 with a simple request:

“He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4:30, and he said, ‘Wake up.’ I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up.’”

And that’s when he requested:

“And he said, ‘Kiss me.’ And then he said, ‘Hug me tight.’”

Whoa. How incredibly sweet.

Reflecting on his last words amid her deep grief, Sharon emotionally added:

“I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter.”

Where are the tissues?? We’re sure he knew how much he was loved!

Despite dealing with several illnesses in his final weeks, including pneumonia, sepsis, and a years-long battle with Parkinson’s disease, the Black Sabbath frontman, 76, decided to go for an early morning workout after their embrace, Sharon recalled:

“And he went downstairs, worked out for 20 minutes and passed away.”

Ozzy used a cross-trainer for up to 90 minutes a day as his primary form of exercise, according to his wife. But on this morning, things were different. A few minutes passed and she heard yelling, she said:

“He had a heart attack. I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t — just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.’ I knew instantly he’d gone. And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital, and they tried, and it’s like, ‘He’s gone. Just leave him.’”

Gosh. It’s so gut-wrenching. We’re so, so sorry for her and her family’s loss. But what a special final moment they got to share.
