Plenty of room on Main Street for more dead city boys.” Vertigo Releasing in the UK has unveiled an official trailer for another funky action comedy movie titled Bad Man, which will be sent direct-to-VOD to watch at home in the UK this September. No US release is set yet – I’m sure someone will try to put this in theaters but will anyone go? Set in Colt Lake, Tennessee, Sam Evans tries to tackle a meth epidemic and working as a deputy. He is sidelined on arrival of Bobby Gaines an undercover agent for the state’s Special Narcotics Task Force. Despite Evans’ local ties, Gaines is instantly hailed as hero by all the other locals. But suspicions arise on Gaines which unravels a complex narrative – what is he really up to in this town? Something is going down, and we’re all ready to find out. Bad Man stars Seann William Scott, Rob Riggle, Chance Perdomo, and Johnny Simmons. This looks mildly amusing and more weird than clever, but I think that’s what they’re going for. Might be entertaining enough to watch – check it out below.
