Over the weekend, the Love on the Brain singer attended a Fenty Beauty event in her native country Barbados and fueled rumors she’s retiring from music. In fan-captured footage circulating around X (Twitter), the 36-year-old reflects on her transition from a career as a pop icon to a business mogul. She told the crowd:
“Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me.”
OMG! As we know, in addition to Fenty Beauty, Rihanna has launched Savage x Fenty, Fenty Skin, and Fenty Hair. And speaking more in depth about all the ways Fenty has allowed her to blossom as an entrepreneur, the multifaceted momma explained:
“I was able to create in ways that were very sincere, and genuine, and organic, and authentic to the things that I love. So it doesn’t even feel like a job.”
