Google has joined forces with Reliance Industries, led by Mukesh Ambani, to offer its artificial intelligence (AI) Pro service for free to millions of Jio subscribers.
This initiative bundles Google’s AI features with Jio’s 5G plans, which makes advanced AI tools available to users without extra charges.
The offer includes 18 months of free AI Pro access for eligible users. Initially, it will be available to people aged 18 to 25, with plans to gradually expand access to all Jio customers across India.

The package features tools such as the Gemini 2.5 Pro model through the Gemini app, enhanced capabilities for generating AI images and videos using Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, extended use of Notebook LM for research and learning, and 2 TB of cloud storage covering Google Photos, Gmail, Drive, and WhatsApp backups.
The combined value of this offer is estimated at ₹35,100 (around $396). Normally, AI Pro is priced at ₹1,950 (about $22) per month, and includes a one-month free trial.
Beyond consumer access, Reliance is also working with Google Cloud to expand the availability of its tensor processing units (TPUs) in India.
Reliance’s AI division, Reliance Intelligence, will support this effort by helping promote Gemini Enterprise to Indian businesses and by building ready-made AI solutions tailored to the platform.
