Pengu AI turns ideas into tailored videos featuring the Pengu NFT. The AI agent brings users’ imaginations to life on X. The request does not matter; the agent can make a video of Pengu flying to the moon, driving in a car, tossing coffee beans, or frozen in a capsule.

As a decentralized platform that enables the development, ownership, monetization, and autonomous operation of AI agents, Virtuals Protocol is a vital component of this new feature. The platform’s interface, Butler Agent, works with Pengu AI to bring the ideas to life.

All users have to do is make posts with descriptions of the videos, tagging the official Pudgy Penguins and Butler Agent X accounts. Virtuals Protocol said each request will run as an x402 transaction through the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP). x402 refers to an open payment standard that activates a long-unused HTTP status code to enable native blockchain payments across the internet. The Butler Agent account will execute this process directly on X.

The latest development comes amid rising adoption of the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection. The Pudgy Penguins brand has become more established, especially in the Asian region, earning its title as crypto’s mascot. 

Just two months ago, the Nasdaq-listed blockchain developer company Blockchain Technology Consensus Solutions (BTCS) added Pudgy Penguins to its NFT treasury. The crypto firm spent $200,000 to acquire three of the collectibles. This further solidified the project’s growing influence in the crypto community as BTCS is one of the first public firms to make such a move.

Besides the rising adoption, Pudgy Penguins has sustained its toyline for more than two years. The project has loads of physical toys hanging on retailers’ shelves – a move made possible by a partnership with Retail Monster.

Within just four years of existing as an NFT project, Pudgy Penguins has also released a mobile game called Pudgy Party. Featuring a multiplayer party, the characters in the games are based on Pudgy Penguins NFTs, however, with unique traits and abilities.
