Macron said he intends to warn Trump to not show weakness to Russian President Putin. “You can’t be weak in the face of President Putin. It’s not you, it’s not your trademark, it’s not in your interest,” Macron said.
President Trump will meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday, according to AP News. Trump has dismissed Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy’s complaints about Ukraine and Europe not being included in the opening of US-Russia talks. Putin has said he wants to make a deal.
Zelenskyy said on Sunday he is willing to step down if it means peace for Ukraine.
