Thousands of supporters of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan breached roadblocks and clashed with police to converge in Islamabad as deadly protests that killed at least five people continued for a second day. The violence erupted when protesters demanding the release of jailed opposition leader Khan entered the capital late Monday, defying efforts by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government to stop them from entering the city.
