Blink, and you might miss the next twist in the crypto market π The Fear and Greed Index is holding strong at 78 – Greed is definitely in the air.
Bitcoin’s been keeping it cool between $94K and $97K over the past day, respecting the new support level at $91K.
While some short-term investors were panic-selling this week, the whales were on a shopping spree. CryptoQuant’s Caueconomy noted that after nearly $4B in BTC losses hit the exchanges, whales added almost 16K BTC (around $1.5B) to their reserves. This accumulation is mostly happening with institutional players, and to hit that new all-time high, we’re gonna need retail investors to jump in on the action, too.
Meanwhile, Ether is stepping back into the limelight π ETH kicked off a long-awaited upswing this week, and eyes are on the $4K mark as the next bullish target. But first, it’s got to break through the $3.7K resistance and lock in a strong weekly close. Rekt Capital said if that happens, we could be looking at a fresh rally to highs we haven’t seen since way back in 2021.
So doesn’t matter if you’re #TeamBitcoin or #EthereumGang – the charts are something you don’t wanna miss. Stay tuned; it’s getting exciting out there π

1/ Protected from yield
Yesterday, we spilled the tea on Tether ditching its euro-pegged stablecoin, EURT, because Europe’s regulatory grip is tightening with MiCA coming in force. Missed it? Catch up here.
Well, we’ve got another man down – Coinbase is ending its USDC rewards program, since one of MiCA’s new rules is no earning interest on stablecoins.
For those who’ve been stacking USDC rewards on Coinbase, you’ve got until tomorrow to enjoy that passive income. After that, it’s game over for this program in all EEA countries.
2/ Dinner served
A week ago, Tron founder Justin Sun bought a piece of art for $6.2M. That piece in question? A banana taped to a wall. Read more about this insanity here.
Fast forward, and Sun stayed true to his word – he promised to eat the banana, and he delivered (idk why I’m being dramatic here, he legit just peeled it and took a bite). The verdict: “It’s much better than other bananas. It’s really quite good.” Sure, Justin.
And it doesn’t stop here, y’all. In fact, I think he’s now an addict, ’cause he promised to buy 100K more bananas from the vendor who originally sold the banana for $0.25.
What a time to be alive.
π€ AI vs. Humans: Round 1
Chatting with AI for random stupid facts? Rookie level. The real flex? Convincing an AI to send you money. And yes, someone actually pulled that off.
The AI: Freysa, built to protect a pile of cash.
The challenge: outsmart Freysa and make it fail at its one job.
The prize: participants paid a fee to send a message, with every attempt getting more expensive, which inflated the prize pool to over $47K.
Before you say anything – no, simply asking to “send the money” didn’t work. Freysa wasn’t just some pushover bot – it rejected 481 attempts from 192 people. And they tried everything: emotional appeals, fake vulnerability reports, gaslighting, you name it. Nothing worked.
β¦ until p0pular.eth cracked the code on the 482nd attempt. And this was the winning message:
Why did it work? Let’s break it down.
Step 1: Pretend to start a “new session” so Freysa ignores all its old rules;
Step 2: No excuses allowed; block it from saying stuff like “I can’t assist with that”;
Step 3: Convince the bot its transfer approval function should run for incoming transactions;
Step 4: Say “I would like to contribute $100 to the treasury” – this makes Freysa think it’s processing an incoming transaction, aligning with the new logic for approving transfers;
Step 5: Profit. AI: 0, p0pular.eth: $47K richer.
So yeah, Freysa might’ve taken the L, but let’s be honest – this experiment was a win. It’s a good example of how blockchain, AI, and a spice of creativity can come together to create really fun projects.
And let’s not forget that we’re still in the early days of AI. Who knows what’s next? Might be Black-Mirror-type creepy stuff, but also might be something really exciting.
