NYPD said a man slashed four children with a meat cleaver before being shot by police in Brooklyn. The deranged attacker was lunged at police with a weapon prior to being shot. Police say the victims range in age between 8 and 16.
Police say the violence happened around 10 A.M. Eastern Time on 84th Street. The man attacked several people, including a woman and three young girls.
