EXCLUSIVE: KSI and Maya Jama are two of the first interviewees featuring on a new BET UK show produced by The Sidemen Story maker Pangaea Group.

Hosted by broadcaster Julie Adenuga, Deadline revealed Now You Know was being developed by Luke Hyams and Sunita Mirchandani Hyams’ Pangaea last year. The series for Paramount-owned BET UK will roll out from next month on the Paramount My5 platform and YouTube.

Love Island host Jama will appear in the first ep on April 1 and YouTuber KSI, whose hit series Inside was recently picked up by Netflix, will be in the second. The other two guests in the first season of Now You Know are Big Zuu and singer-songwriter Mahalia.

The guests will discuss their journeys and influences. Notably, Adenuga will also give audiences a look at the preparation and vulnerability behind her work, with each episode following her as she delves into extensive research with the help of her team and those who know her guests best.

Adenuga will also EP the series with producer Pangaea Group, which is run by ex-YouTube originals exec Hyams and producer Mirchandani Hyams. GroupM Motion Entertainment is co-producing with Pangaea.

It’s something I’ve been doing for over a decade but thanks to GroupM Motion Entertainment and BET UK I’ve been given the opportunity to not just host it, but also executive produce the show with Pangaea and bring my vision of giving audiences a peek behind the curtain of what goes into a great conversation.”

Now You Know is directed by Hyams and produced by Mirchandani Hyams. Executive producers for BET UK are Cicelia Deane and Shurwin Beckford, with Melanie Darlaston for GroupM Motion Entertainment.
