A popular AEW star’s return was announced by the company recently. Following that, the wrestler issued a message ahead of her comeback to the squared circle.
The aforementioned star in question is Queen Aminata. She has been a consistent name in the women’s division of All Elite Wrestling since 2021. Moreover, the 32-year-old wrestler formed a team with Jamie Hayter, and they participated in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.
Despite their valiant effort as a team, Aminata and Hayter were eliminated in the first round. Furthermore, she was also announced to compete in the first-ever Women’s Blood and Guts match before sustaining a knee injury. However, after five months of being on the sidelines, Aminata’s return was finally announced.
On the latest episode of Collision, Willow Nightingale managed to successfully defend her TBS title against the returning Hikaru Shida. Following that, it was announced that she will once again put her championship on the line against the returning Queen Aminata next week on Dynamite. The beloved AEW star then took to her X to drop a four-word message to build hype regarding her upcoming return to the Jacksonville-based wrestling promotion.

Queen Aminata will be returning to in-ring competition for the first time since October 2025. She opened about taking the first bump after recovering from her injury and called it a nerve-wracking experience.
“Hopefully everything continues to look good so I can get back in the ring and start rolling around and take that first bump — which is very, very scary. I don’t know why I’m freaking out about it. I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years, but taking a bump is scary. Especially when you get hurt and you come back, and they’re like, ‘Okay, take your first bump.’ I don’t care what anybody says — to me, it’s nerve-wracking.”
However, it is expected that she has overcome that fear and is ready to be back in the mix. With Queen Aminata set to have a huge opportunity in her return bout, it will be interesting to see if she can dethrone Willow Nightingale next week.
