Seth Rollins opened up about a personal struggle while dealing with a recent WWE injury. The veteran was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship last year following Crown Jewel due to injury.
Speaking with Complex, Seth Rollins detailed his personal struggle while dealing with a neck issue last year. The Visionary noted that he had difficulty holding his daughter, and disappointing her was crushing.
Thanks for the submission!
“Last year, my neck was destroying me. That was really bad. During the summer last year, I couldn’t go 30 seconds without fidgeting. I had to get in a different position, I had to jam my thumb into my neck. I mean, it was not fun and then had to try to go to work and wrestle and be normal and stuff like that and the worst part is when your daughter wants to play and you’re like, ‘Ah, daddy needs a minute…’ It’s seeing her disappointed is the worst feeling in the world. I can get through wrestling stuff, whatever. But seeing my daughter disappointed and the sadness on her face because daddy can’t pick her up. That hurts. That sticks with you,” said Rollins. Seth Rollins reveals his issues with WWE Unreal
RAW star Seth Rollins recently opened up about his issues with WWE Unreal ahead of the show’s second season on Netflix.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the former World Heavyweight Champion shared that he was old school and thought many backstage details should remain a secret from WWE fans.
“I’m under 40 still, but I have like an old school mentality, so for me to be pushed to the point of having to break kayfabe, it hurts me a bit. It’s difficult but I will say there are some things I want to protect, because I do believe the grey area in our business is what makes this special, that believability,” he said.
Only time will tell when Seth Rollins will be ready to return to WWE television following his injury last year.
