The Hezbollah terror group confirms its longtime leader, Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli strike in Lebanon.
The Israeli military said Nasrallah was with other Hezbollah leadership at the terrorist organization’s headquarters when the precision strike was carried out on Friday.
Hezbollah confirmed Nasrallah’s assassination in a statement on Saturday, stating the leader “has joined his fellow martyrs” and vowing to “continue the holy war against the enemy and in support of Palestine.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei posted to social media to urge Muslims to rise up against Israel in the wake of Nasrallah’s killing.
