When Lily Stewart, 20, was arrested for speeding on March 8, she had no idea her mugshot would gain her worldwide attention. But she’s back behind bars again, and made sure to up the glam factor.
TMZ, who was the first to report on Stewart’s original arrest, got the exclusive on Sunday morning when the University of Georgia student was arrested for a second time in just over two weeks.

According to police records, Stewart’s new charges had nothing to do with her lead-footed driving style. This time, the sorority sister has been charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling, which are both misdemeanors.
After Stewart’s mugshot went viral following her first arrest, she reported receiving hundreds of DMs and messages—some of them funny, some of them lewd. This unexpected onslaught of attention, particularly the more vulgar kind, helped Stephen Morris, Stewart’s lawyer, get the charges against her dropped. (She was driving 84 mph in a 55 mph zone… just minutes after being pulled over for going 79 mph.)

As of this morning, Stewart was still behind bars and being held on $4,000 bail. TMZ reached out to both Morris and the police for comment, but did not hear back.
On Friday, People ran an exclusive interview with Stewart, who claimed she didn’t really get what the big deal was. “There are some beautiful mug shots,” she said. “I don’t think mine’s particularly stunning. I actually think it’s a bad photo of me. If you see me in person, I don’t really look the same as I do in that mug shot. I don’t think it’s a great photo of me.”
Perhaps she was trying to rectify that.
