Police in Frankfort, Kentucky confirm Jacob Lee Bard, the man accused of opening fire at a residence hall on the Kentucky State University campus earlier this week is the parent of another student at the school.
Bard is charged with murder for the death of 19-year-old De’jon Fox, a student from Indianapolis. He also faces of charge of first-degree assault after another student was critically wounded in the shooting.
Frankfort police have not discussed a possible motive.
