JLab has unveiled the Go Pop ANC wireless earbuds, offering an affordable option for those seeking noise-canceling capabilities. Priced at $29.99, these earbuds are a budget-friendly alternative to the more premium offerings on the market, like the ANC 3, also by JLab. Despite their lower price point, the Go Pop ANC still pack a punch with features such as an ambient sound boosting mode and up to 21 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation.

While we have yet to test the Go Pop ANC, it’s important to note that the active noise-canceling performance may not match up to that of more expensive models from industry leaders like Sony. The Go Pop ANC utilize a feed-forward system with two microphones to detect and cancel external sounds. More advanced ANC systems typically employ a hybrid approach with additional microphones inside the ear to tackle a wider range of frequencies.

According to JLab, the Go Pop ANC can deliver up to seven hours of battery life on the earbuds alone or up to 24 hours with the charging case when ANC is off.
