We’re excited to introduce the VeeFriends Wallet powered by Privy: a secure, onchain wallet built directly into your VeeFriends account. With Privy, there’s no need for browser extensions, seed phrases, or complex setups. Just sign in with your email to create your wallet and start collecting.
This update makes it easier than ever for both new and existing collectors to manage their VeeFriends NFTs. It will unlock mobile-friendly access to Burn Island (coming soon), and other token-gated experiences. Be on the lookout for new VeeFriends Wallet integrations coming soon, including user-friendly updates to BOOK GAMES.
Why Privy Creates a Simpler Collecting Experience
Privy makes NFT collecting seamless with email-based wallet creation, debit and credit card support for easy purchases, and mobile compatibility for on-the-go redemptions and future Burn Island participation. Privy also gives you full non-custodial control so you can export your private keys to MetaMask or any wallet you prefer.
Like we’ve done with the VeeFriends Wallet, the launch of the new VeeFriends website will also allow us to address and improve other parts of our ecosystem, including Verify With VeeFriends.
How To Activate Your VeeFriends Wallet
With the new VeeFriends Wallet, you’ll keep using the same email tied to your VeeFriends account, no passwords required. Signing in to VeeFriends.com automatically creates your wallet and begins your onchain journey with a quick, one-time setup that securely links to your account.
Note: You will still be able to link external wallets to your VeeFriends Account. Any wallets you’ve previously linked to your account will remain linked. You do not need to move your NFTs from their current wallet into the VeeFriends Wallet.
For example, if you own a VeeFriends Series 1 NFT in a MetaMask wallet, there’s no need to move it into your VeeFriends Wallet, unless you choose to. However, some future Burn Island activations may require specific NFTs, like BOOK GAMES, to be held in your VeeFriends Wallet to be eligible for participation that require burning NFTs.
To clarify, no action is needed regarding your BOOK GAMES tokens, and we recommend holding on transferring them until we’ve made further announcements.
How to Sign In to Your VeeFriends Account
With the new system, there are no more passwords for your VeeFriends account. Instead, you’ll sign in using the email you’ve already used with VeeFriends. Whichever email you used before, keep using it here to make sure your account (and wallet) stays connected.
You’ll see three options when signing in:
Sign in with Email — Enter your email address, and we’ll send you a one-time password (OTP) to enter and log in.Sign in with Google — If your VeeFriends account email is a Gmail address, you can log in directly with your Google account.Sign in with Apple — If your VeeFriends account email is tied to Apple, you can log in with your Apple ID.
That’s it — quick, secure, and no need to remember another password.

Protecting Your VeeFriends Wallet with 2FA
Since VeeFriends has simplified the sign in flow and no longer uses passwords, there’s no two-factor authentication (2FA) tied directly to your VeeFriends account. Instead, security is handled through your email sign-in method, whether that’s a one-time password sent to your inbox, or the native 2FA you already have set up with Gmail or Apple.
The 2FA you’ll see inside the VeeFriends Wallet is specifically for approving VeeFriends Wallet powered by Privy transactions, not for logging into your account. We strongly recommend enabling this extra layer of protection. By adding 2FA through a passkey or authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy, you’ll create a more secure step when confirming any transaction from your VeeFriends Wallet. These apps are more secure than SMS-based codes, which can be vulnerable to SIM-swapping.
