ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR UPDATE: Pro-Palestinain protests ended with arrests being made at Columbia University.
Police say two people were arrested while the demonstrations were taking place. FOX 5 reports dozens of masked pro-Palestinian demonstrators armed with megaphones and signs clashed with police outside of the university on Tuesday. The arrested duo was arrested for disorderly conduct. Columbia’s Historic Alma Mater statue was vandalized and splattered with red paint in a separate incident.
Israeli war coverage: Hundreds of Israeli forces carried out the deadliest operation in the occupied West Bank since the start of the Gaza war. IDF soldiers are focusing on the Jenin refugee camp.
Israeli military officials say the operation is targeting militants in the area.
