By partnering with Reliance Jio, owned by one of India’s wealthiest businessmen, Mukesh Ambani, Polygon plans to introduce Blockchain technology to more than 450 million users. The partnership will integrate Blockchain-powered solutions into existing digital services like JioSphere, aiming to optimize processes that are typically costly, slow, or inefficient.

The Polygon team emphasizes its commitment to providing scalable, low-fee, and high-speed transactions without compromising on decentralization—a key principle of Web3 technology.

Polygon Co-founder Sandeep Nailwal shared insights with industry sources, saying, “We’re building at a crazy pace, onboarding major partners, and pushing Blockchain into the mainstream.” He highlighted the responsibility to uphold core Web3 values such as security, transparency, and decentralization.

Polygon’s heavy investments in Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technology allow developers to offer faster, cheaper transactions without sacrificing trust and data integrity. According to Nailwal, features like low fees, quick transactions, and decentralized security have made possible a wide range of use cases—from stablecoin payments to real-world asset tokenization by global enterprises on the Polygon PoS network.

This collaboration with Reliance Jio aims to gradually onboard India’s vast and diverse population into the Blockchain ecosystem.
