“According to a statement made by OpenAI, the leading company in artificial intelligence, free ChatGPT users will now be able to create images in the chatbot, albeit with limitations.
OpenAI, a leading company in artificial intelligence technologies, continues to support its free users. In a statement, the company announced that users of the free version of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot will now be able to create images using the DALL-E 3 model.”
Only 2 images per day

“Although OpenAI has introduced image generation support to free ChatGPT users, DALL-E 3 only allows the creation of two images per day. DALL-E 3 is the company’s latest text-to-image model, which was released last September. Initially, it was made available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers, the paid versions of ChatGPT.
While DALL-E 3 may not produce visuals with the same high quality as Midjourney, it excels in consistency and text generation within images. The integration with ChatGPT offers a significant advantage. When you ask ChatGPT for help with an image, the tool generates a detailed prompt, making the image creation process more efficient. Even if you don’t provide your own prompt, the tool will create one automatically to generate the image.
In my experiment, I first used the prompt ‘A bird flying over Turkey.’ The image above was generated using this prompt. Then, I asked ChatGPT to create a more detailed prompt based on my request, and it generated a lengthy prompt in English, with the result shown below.
OpenAI’s support for the free tier is appreciated but somewhat limited. If you want to create images with DALL-E 3 for free, you can use Microsoft’s Copilot or Designer. However, to access this feature within ChatGPT, you’ll need to subscribe to the Plus plan, which costs $20 per month.”

## Conclusion
In conclusion, OpenAI’s decision to allow free ChatGPT users to create images using the DALL-E 3 model marks a significant advancement in AI technology. While the limitation of only two images per day may seem restrictive, it still provides valuable access to cutting-edge image generation capabilities. The integration of DALL-E 3 with ChatGPT enhances the user experience by streamlining the image creation process and offering detailed prompts.
Furthermore, the ability to request image generation based on specific prompts or have the tool automatically generate prompts demonstrates the versatility and efficiency of the technology. Although the quality of images produced by DALL-E 3 may not match that of other models, its consistency and text generation features make it a valuable asset for users.
While OpenAI’s support for the free tier is commendable, those looking for more extensive image creation capabilities may consider upgrading to the Plus plan. Alternatively, utilizing Microsoft’s Copilot or Designer can also provide access to similar features. Overall, with advancements like DALL-E 3 and its integration with ChatGPT, the future of AI-driven image generation looks promising and opens up exciting possibilities for creative expression and innovation.
