DJI has unveiled its new cargo drone, the FlyCart 30, capable of operating in challenging conditions and carrying a substantial payload of up to 80 kilograms. Equipped with advanced sensors, a winch system, and a battery that charges in just a few minutes, this model aims to provide a solution for professional transportation needs. Currently, the FlyCart 30 is only available for sale in China, but it’s expected to enter the global market soon.

DJI has announced its new cargo drone, the FlyCart 30, developed for professional use. The drone stands out for its resilience to harsh weather conditions, specifically designed for emergency situations or for transporting materials to hard-to-reach areas.

The new FlyCart 30 model from Chinese technology company DJI can carry a payload of up to 80 kilograms. With this load, the drone offers a range of up to 6 kilometers, and when the carrying capacity is reduced, its range can extend up to 12 kilometers. The model can operate between -20 and 40 degrees Celsius and perform tasks at altitudes of up to 6,000 meters.

DJI FlyCart 30 Features

The FlyCart 30 is equipped with advanced systems such as a LiDAR sensor, fisheye cameras, millimeter-wave radar, and night vision illumination. These sensors allow the drone to fully perceive its surroundings and avoid obstacles. Load transportation can be carried out with a 70-liter container or through a winch system. The device also features an integrated parachute for emergencies.

The drone’s battery can be charged in just 9 minutes and can self-heat in low temperatures. According to DJI, the battery life can extend up to approximately 1,500 charge cycles.

The FlyCart 30 is currently only available in China, priced at approximately $12,400. There is no official information regarding its global release. However, given the global distribution of previous models, the FlyCart 30 is also expected to go on sale in other countries soon.
