President Trump held the first-ever crypto summit at the White House. He was joined by industry executives, investors, and members of his administration for the event. One of the people there was Bo Hines, Executive Director of the Presidential Working Group on Digital Assets.
Hines told Yahoo Finance Senior Reporter Jennifer Schonberger that a key area of focus for the group is going to be regulation. “This is an industry that’s been beaten down and kicked down over the course of the last decade and a half, specifically under the Biden regulatory regime… The president made it very clear today that he is going to work to eradicate some of those regulatory rules that really just crushed industry here in the United States.”
