Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, has shared a photo of the couple’s engagement ring in an Instagram post attracting millions of likes within hours.
Rodriguez, who met Ronaldo in 2016 while he was at Real Madrid and she was working as a store assistant in the Spanish capital, is now set to marry the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“Yes I do,” added the 31-year-old, addressing the footballer who has more than 662 million followers on the platform. “In this and in all my lives.”

The ring is worth approximately 35 carats and cost $5 million, according to Tobias Kormind, the managing director of London’s 77 Diamonds, via People.
Laura Taylor, an engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, told the publication that the rock is “extraordinary” and has an oval-cut diamond ranging between 15 and 20 carats.
“Oval cuts are known for their brilliant faceting, which maximises sparkle and gives the stone a bright, lively appearance from every angle,” added Taylor.
“If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million,” she adds.

Ronaldo’s first child, Cristiano Jr, was born in 2010 and is one of five who are part of the 40-year-old’s family with Rodriguez.
Cristiano Jr’s birth mother has not been named. In 2017, Ronaldo and Rodriguez became parents to twins said to be named Mateo and Eva and have been conceived with a surrogate mother.
Weeks later, the couple announced that Rodriguez was expecting a baby. A daughter, Alana Martina, was born in November 2017.

Two-time Saudi Pro League top scorer Ronaldo struck first time from close range in the 17th minute, completing a slick move involving strike partners Joao Felix and Sadio Mane.
New manager Jorge Jesus had won all of his previous three games in charge, starting with a 5-2 win over Austrian club SK St Johann, when Ronaldo was rested after starting pre-season training and Al-Nassr’s goals came from Mane, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohamed Simakan, Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem and an own goal.
The Portugal captain and Mohammed Maran then scored in a 2-1 win over Ligue 1 side Toulouse before a goal from Simakan and a Ronaldo hat-trick sealed a 4-0 thrashing of Rio Ave in Portugal on Thursday.
“Without his invitation, I certainly wouldn’t be here,” Jorge Jesus said of Ronaldo when he arrived in July on a one-year contract.
“The motivation will be great. I’m going to try to ensure that Al-Nassr, which is one of the best clubs in Saudi Arabia, can win titles.”
The 70-year-old Portuguese won the Saudi Pro League and King Cup with Al-Hilal in 2023/24.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a player who has always won everything he’s played for,” added Jorge Jesus.
“He hasn’t won in Saudi Arabia yet. I’ll see if I can help him. We speak the same language, everything is easy.”
