EXCLUSIVE: UK agency Conway Van Gelder Grant (CvGG) has hired agent Becky Williams, who joins from Hatch after nine years.
Williams specialises in writer-performers and brings with her a roster including Jon Pointing (Big Boys), Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Stath Lets Flats), Jack Shep (Changing Ends), Al Roberts (Stath Lets Flats), Ada & Bron (Ada & Bron The Origin Of Love), Emily Lloyd-Saini (Juice), and Adam Drake (Juice).
The firm, which reps talent including Benedict Cumberbatch, Helena Bonham Carter, Jack O’Connell, Brian Cox, Jack Lowden, Jonathan Bailey and Adolescence star Erin Doherty, is looking to grow its footprint for performer-creators.
Company partner John Grant explained: “Becky Williams joining CvGG marks an exciting new chapter. As we continue to drive the agency forward by expanding into the comedy writer, performer space, this is an important step in shaping the future of CvGG and we are excited for this next phase in our growth.”
Agent additions to the company in recent years include the return of David Lazenby and Greg Herst, who joined from Troika in 2020.
