California’s wildfire season is in full force.
So far, the Golden State has already seen nearly three times as much acreage burn than during all of 2023. In Southern California, three major wildfires are currently burning: Bridge Fire, Airport Fire, and Line Fire.
The Bridge Fire has burned 49,008 acres and is 0% contained. The Airport Fire has burned 22,910 acres and remains 0% contained. The Line Fire has burned 34,729 acres and is 14% contained.
