Air raid sirens are sounding across the country right now. Israel and the U.S. have warned there would be severe consequences in the event of an attack on Israel from Iran, according to officials.
Israeli army spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said the country’s air defense system was detecting and intercepting threats. “However, the defense is not hermetic,” Hagari said.
The alerts from officials sounded after a day of rocket and missile attack from Lebanon. Israel has warned there would be ‘repercussions’ if Iran attacks.
