Apple Announces the iPhone Air, Its Thinnest Ever

Apple unveils the iPhone Air. The company calls it a “piece of the future.” The iPhone Air is 5.6 millimeters, and is “unlike anything you’ve ever held before,” says John Ternus, chief of hardware engineering. It has a 6.5-inch screen, ProMotion, new Ceramic Shield on both the front and the back. Ed Ludlow reports from Cupertino.
