Leading Web3 AI and investment companies have united to form the “AI Unbundled” initiative, which seeks to to support AI startups through joint-venture funding, subsidised access to decentralised GPU and grants, among others.
The alliances is comprised of 13 companies, including OORT, Aethir, 0G Labs, Biconomy, Polyhedra, Oasis Protocol Foundation, ChainGPT, IoTeX, iExec, GEODNET, Flock.io, Alpha Neural AI, and DeAgent AI.
According AI startups will receive backing in the range of of $10,000 and $100,000, receiving further support through co-branded industry events, workshops, and dedicated hackathons to spotlight emerging projects.
Commenting on the announcement, Daniel Wang, CEO of Aethir, said: “AI Unbundled is our commitment to making decentralized AI development viable by providing builders with open, scalable, and composable infrastructure, while supporting projects that drive positive impacts and innovations.”
Ada Heinrich, CMO at 0G Labs, commented: “Joining AI Unbundled amplifies our commitment to powering the builders who are shaping the future of decentralized AI.”
OORT had earlier announced HumanAIx, another alliance that seeks to build better AI infrastructure. The alliance was formed in partnership with DaTaSECURE and Unyt, both of which will provide cybersecurity and trustless mutual accounting for AI contributions.
HumanAIx will leverage XYO to scale the decentralised data network layer, while AI Kido will contribute to its development with a decentralized data collection protocol.
“We believe AI should create more benefits than constraints for humanity,” said Michael Robinson, chairman of the OORT Foundation. “With the launch of HumanAIx, we are fostering a decentralized movement to ensure AI remains human-centric and serves the broader community.”
Other partners in the HumanAIx alliance include Storj Labs, Oasis Labs, Valdi Labs, Io.Net and Holo Host.
