Adidas has launched a new set of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as part of its latest move into Web3, partnering with “Xociety,” a third-person crypto shooter game with RPG elements.

Each box also contains a “Certificate,” which grants access to exclusive Adidas in-game wearables, \$XO token airdrops, and profit-sharing options within the Xociety platform.
The certificates also tie into a revenue-sharing model where holders receive a portion of the spending from other players within the game. This is part of Xociety’s “Player Owned Progression” (POP) system, which allows digital asset ownership and long-term incentives. The profit share percentage varies based on the rarity of the certificate.
Xociety is described as Sui’s main gaming project and has already completed playtests with over 12,000 participants across 64 countries. The game will be accessible on the SuiPlay 0x1 handheld device.
“ALTS by adidas” holders will get early access to in-game Adidas skins and may also be entered into raffles to purchase the mystery boxes. Meanwhile, Xociety NFT Avatar holders receive full access to the game, including development builds, playtests, and earning mechanisms.
This is part of Adidas’ ongoing involvement in the NFT space. The company’s first move came in 2021 with the launch of its “Into The Metaverse” collection, which generated $23 million in revenue.
