Founded by engineers who worked previously at Jump Trading, Coinbase, and Citadel Securities, aPriori aims to bring high-frequency trading tools on-chain. The company describes its platform as an intelligence order flow coordination layer for high-performance blockchains.
Commenting on the announcement in a Substack post on the company’s website, aPriori founder Ray Song, said in a statement: “We built aPriori on the insight that the same mechanisms which protected LPs and improved efficiency, combined with the active engines used at leading HFT firms to combat adverse selection, could be brought on-chain to transform how liquidity and order flow are managed. The result is tighter spreads, fairer execution, and more sustainable yields for everyone in the market.”
According to aPriori, its systems leverage AI to classify order flow in real time, forecast adverse selection, and route trades accordingly, with its main objective being to deliver “better execution for traders, healthier markets for LPs, and yields that are earned rather than extracted.”
Hosted on the High-performance EVM blockchain, Monad, aPriori’s aim is to “become the reference execution layer for high-performance DeFi, starting on Monad.”
“We will keep tightening spreads, rewarding quality participants, and lifting the baseline for on-chain market performance through order flow segmentation, intelligent routing, and MEV alignment,” aPriori wrote.
